Heritage’s new video on the war on religious freedom

As the battle for religious liberty continues, recently two more lawsuits were filed against the Obamacare mandate. Brandon Stewart created a new video about the subject that is fresh out today.

It’s important to remember this isn’t a battle about birth control or women’s health — as the Left continues to say. This is about religious liberty, the very foundation of our country and what we stand for:

RNC reaction to Biden’s Ohio visit

As Vice President Biden visits Ohio, President Obama’s blatant overreach of the First Amendment is picking up more and more steam with Independents, Democrats and Republicans, who are ALL voicing their opposition. Between this, the economy, Ohio ranking 8th to last out of all states in economic confidence, or the fact that the administrations signature achievement, Obamacare, was rejected in all 88 Ohio Counties, it seems as though Obama has a BIG problem in Ohio.

Below is a quote from the Republican National Committee:

“The Obama administration has too many problems to count in Ohio and that’s exactly why you see Vice President Biden here today. It’s too bad another campaign speech won’t change Barack Obama’s blatant overreach on the First Amendment or the fact that Obamacare was resoundingly rejected in every Ohio county. Ohioans are ready for a real leader, not one with a laundry list of broken promises and failed economic policies.” – Ryan Tronovitch, RNC Spokesman

Obama Admin Struggles To Contain Uproar Over First Amendment Overreach

“The White House struggled Wednesday to contain the growing uproar over its birth-control mandate, with Democrats peeling off one by one in what has become an increasingly divisive election-year controversy. Pressure to roll back the new contraception policy mounted quickly as the day wore on, driven by divisions among Democrats, mixed messages from President Obama’s advisers and a constant drumbeat from the GOP. ‘It’s becoming a thorny problem for the White House and it appears to only be getting worse,’ said one Democratic strategist.” (Amie Parnes and Sam Baker, “Obama administration struggles to contain uproar over birth-control rule,” The Hill, 02/08/2012)

In 81 of the counties, it won by a margin of at least 20 percentage points. Statewide, it won by 32 points (66 to 34 percent).
